Real “Hot Wheels” Cars!
BoneShaker
Designed by Hot Wheels designer Larry Wood. His original sketch is included in the slideshow below. Interesting note, he threw the original drawing away only to fish it out of the trash later. This Hot Wheel ended up being very successful and re-released in several different paint schemes.
Deora
Designed by Harry Bradley and constructed by the Alexander Brothers of Detroit,
the famous Deora was honored with the coveted Ridler Award in 1967.
Deora II
The Deora II was designed by Nathan Proch, the life sized version of the car was built by Chip Foose. The Deora II was inducted into the Hot Wheels Hall of Fame in 2003 at the Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles, CA. Jay Leno drove the car to the induction with Carson Lev.
Twin Mill
