See You Next Wednesday

A fun fact about John Landis, he inserts references to a fictional film called See You Next Wednesday in the films he directs. A line from Stanley Kubrick’s 2001: A Space Odyssey; the last words Frank Poole’s parents say in their video to him before signing off. Also mentioned in the opening scene of Michael Jackson’s “Thriller”, the police decode a message from MJ’s werecat character.
